The feeling is stacked with a cocktail of emotions brandishing their wares on a daily gut-wrenching basis. The trial is finally here and so many seem to have forgotten its many lessons, while others have jumped back aboard this amazing trail of tragedy and redemption. For me, it’s been a flashback into presence and past, and a future that will dictate the fate of so many. Jesse James Hollywood’s trial is still being talked about in all corners of the globe, not only for its sensational reality, as depicted in Alpha Dog and Stolen Boy, but for it’s painful messages built into the fabric of human consciousness.
There are no winners as the Santa Barbara County District Attorney seeks to put Jesse James Hollywood to sleep for good. Right now, there are only losers. But history will play the ultimate medium in telling whether the many necessary lessons were learned by the celebrated masses who needed them most.
In the meantime, Los Angeles news radio station KFWB’s Lisa Osborne caught up with Stolen Boy for an update on the Jesse James Hollywood death penalty trial.

The odds seem soooo stacked against Hollywood, so many people witnesses, and convicted people saying JJH was the minder to the murder. Do you think Jesse James Hollywood has a shot at all at being found not Guility Mr.Mehas???
Oh, yes, I very much do believe there is. Never underestimate the value of a brilliant defense team. Mr. Blatt has gone after each prosecution witness with a vengeance. Most of these witnesses appear meek and unpersuasive after being badgered by defense attorneys per cross examination. All they need is one juror who believes this case has not been proven beyone a reasonable doubt. Just one. I also believe the defense has the better team of lawyers. It appears to me as though Jesse is getting about as good a defense as could possibly be given. Even with all the evidence I possess regarding this case, Mr. Blatt has nearly generated a reasonable doubt in my very own mind.
I agree with the meekness of the witnesses thus far. As I have previously stated I don’t think the death penaly quite fits as punishment for his part in the murder, but I still hope he doesn’t walk away from this.
i dissagre i think ryan hoyt should of been brought to the stand and they made a movie about it and if you watch it you would automaticaly say he is guilty before you ever seen his side that movie schould of been made after the sentence and movie does have influence on the decision we made. and if hollywood made ryan hoyt kill the kid doesnt ryan have a mind of his own hollywood didnt shoot the kid
