The MS legislature has a lot more to think about beyond the automatic sentencing…it needs to address the Totality of the Circumstances “Test,”…a “test that is never actually administered. That all 50 states have a law for determining when juveniles can Waive Miranda Rights is the declaration that juveniles need special protections…Yet, the TOCT does nothing to protect juveniles…it either needs to be abolished or at least the details of who and when TOCT is conducted.

Wouldn’t it be great publicity for DA’s office in Oktibbeha Co., MS to be bankrupted due to Tyler’s case? Yah, that would get attention.
